Catapult Energy Services Group was formed by Natural Gas Partners and NGP Energy Technology Partners, affiliates of NGP Energy Capital Management (NGP), to provide startup equity capital to experienced, entrepreneurial oilfield services managers.

Natural Gas Partners (NGP) is a $10.5 billion family of private equity funds that makes direct equity investments in energy companies. The firm invests where there is a clear match between a management team’s growth strategy and NGP’s unique sponsorship capabilities. NGP Energy Technology Partners (“NGP ETP”) invests equity capital for growth and buyout transactions in companies that provide products and services to the oil and gas, power, energy efficiency, and alternative energy sectors. Founded in 2005, NGP ETP manages approximately $500 million in committed capital and is led by investment professionals that have extensive experience investing in virtually all types of energy technology. The investment team strives to partner with strong, experienced management teams and work with them to create significant value.

Covenant Testing Technologies combines leading technology with some of the most skilled and knowledgeable operators in the business. They specialize in superior well testing and flowback services with operations in the key areas of Midland TX and Greely, CO. Founded in 2013, Covenant is an affiliate of Catapult Energy Services Group.

Cretic Energy Services has developed specialized equipment capable of servicing wells at extended reach depths. Cretic Energy Services’ coiled tubing units, fluid pumping units and nitrogen units make up its fleet of specialized CT equipment. They have skilled and competent personnel that transform their equipment into customized solutions and exceptional client experiences. Founded in 2013, Cretic is an affiliate of Catapult Energy Services Group.

Spinnaker Oil Services is an innovative provider of cementing, acidizing, and pressure pumping to complete new oil and gas wells and for remedial and production improvement for existing wells. Founded in 2013, Spinnaker is currently operating in Oklahoma and is an affiliate of Catapult Energy Services Group.
